The scheme has been designed as a skill certification ad reward scheme with an aim to enable and mobilize large number of Indian youth to take up skill training and become employable for sustainable livelihood. To keep the training imparted in the market relevant scenario, a total of 3 job roles have been added in the PMKVY 4.0(2023) version for implementation.
